Meet Peter!
Hi there! I’m Peter, the owner and trainer at Peter the Dog Trainer!
I have lived in Montgomery for almost 40 years and have been a member of Montgomery Emergency Medical Services since 1995. My wife and I currently have two dogs, a yellow lab and a black lab/pointer mix.
After training dogs and puppies for many years for friends, family and coworkers, I decided to turn this passion into a business and completed the Master Class program at the CATCH Canine Trainers Academy. During my certification, I gained in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in positive reinforcement techniques to professionally, safely and effectively train dogs. Additionally, I’m certified in pet first aid and CPR to ensure the safety of your furry friend!
I’m passionate about understanding dog behavior and development, and I take pride in my ability to evaluate temperament and behavior. From puppyhood to adulthood, my goal is to help dogs and their owners achieve success by building a strong, healthy bond based on trust, respect, and love.
